Laetitia Casta was born to father Dominique Casta and mother Line Blin. She has one elder brother and one younger sister named Jean-Baptiste and Marie-Angel respectively. In school day, she was a day dreamer though she never showed a real interest in becoming a model. Even she used to feel awkward because of not being able to attract fellow males.

Fate of Laetitia Casta changed on the day, she was discovered by an agent of a famous modeling company, Madison Models, when she was making sand castles in corsica beach. Later she impressed director of ELLE magazine. So it was soon ensured that she would appear for modeling as well as grace the magazine. Laetitia did her first advertising campaign for GUESS? Jeans, which gave her immediate fame in the fashion industry.

Soon after this, Laetitia Casta appeared on cover page of famous magazines like Victoria’s Secret catalogs, ELLE, Vogue etc. In 1998, Laetitia was named for hottest model of the year by rolling stone magazine. Other than fashion magazines, she appeared for 3 consecutive year on Sports Illustrated and became a part of Pirelli Tires Calandar which was showing hottest women of the decades.

Other than modeling, Laetitia Casta tried to enter in mainstream cinema to work as an actress and fortunately she got a chance very soon when she performed for movie Astérix and Obélix which was the most expensive French movie. Next Laetitia acted in movie La Bicyclette Bleu Which was aired on World war ll france and Les Ames Fortes. She also appeared in a music video song "Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing" by Chris Isaak.

In 1999, Laetitia Casta was so close to french peoples’ heart that french government decided that she would appear on french stamps and coins for next ten years as the image of Marianne which represents french republic. Though later Laetitia had to face some controveries as well when she had to move to London. Though she always claimed that she had to do this because of professional reasons but magazine Le Point and others accused her of escaping from france to save taxes.

In personal life, Laetitia Casta had been quite stable in comparision to other models and actress. Earlier she dated for a long time with her boyfriend Stéphane Sednaoui she even gave birth to a daughter, Sahteene from him but later they broke off and Laetitia started dating with actor Stefano Accorsi . She gave birth to his son. Orland in September 2006.
